Vitamix Dry Container 65% off Deal is Back Again [expired] — 18 Comments

  1. mine just shipped and I ordered it Monday night, if I was to order it on sunday I would have had it by Friday, now I cant get it till next Monday.

  2. I have a Vitamix Super 5000. Will this dry container work with the 5000?

The bearings have frozen in my wet blade container. I found your site researching which vitamix to buy as I was considering using the trade-in option at If this container will work on the 5000, the least expensive option is going to be to swap blades from my current wet blade container to my current dry blade container.

Really enjoyed your site – so much helpful information.

    • Yes, this dry container will work perfectly well with your Super 5000. However, your blade swapping plan might not work out. The Vitamix bearings and blades come as a single blade assembly unit. It is relatively straightforward to move the blade assembly (with bearings) from one container to another, but to swap new bearings from the dry container onto your old wet blade will require much more tinkering. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it is far beyond the usual scope of Vitamix maintenance/replacement.

  3. Thanks for your quick reply. I was planning to move blade from my old wet container to my old dry container and keep the new dry container as is. However, my husband was able to locate high speed bearings and replaced the frozen ones on my wet container. My 13 year old vita mix is working like a champ again.

  4. Thanks for all the help. I ended up getting a refurb vitamix with 5 yr warranty and the dry container. It looks like I will have to wait until the end of June for delivery. For the savings worth the wait.

  5. How does the QVC (Squaretrade) warranty compare to the Vitamix manufacturer warranty? Anybody have warranty experience?

    • As far as I know, Vitamix products bought on QVC are covered by the Vitamix manufacturer’s warranty. So I wouldn’t see any reason for a Squaretrade warranty…

  6. Was searching for the dry container and came across this amazing deal!! Free shipping as well! I am so excited to get it!
